Latvian airline airBaltic has added the possibility to purchase tickets for Ethereum, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, USD Coin, Binance Dollar, Gemini Dollar and Paxos.
In 2014, airBaltic was the first airline in the world to add bitcoin as a payment method.
"About 1,000 customers have taken advantage of this option since its integration," said Martin Gauss, the carrier's chief executive.
Airfare prices are denominated in euros. Automatic conversion of cryptocurrencies into fiat on purchase is carried out by the BitPay payment service.
Recall, blockchain-based hotel booking service Travala in January added Tezos to the other 30 cryptocurrencies to pay for 3 million options for travel products.
